I arrived to unit struggling to cool in the middle of the day. Client stated that unit ran fine but struggled to maintain temperature throughout the day. I went to the alert history and found the same alert had repeated throughout the course of the week. It was loosing communication to the thermostat and indoor unit is cooling at first I thought something to do with the Wi-Fi. I then found the code to correspond with the external water safety switch. I engaged the switch and confirmed it was intermittently shutting the unit off and not allowing the home to cool. The switch had some slope in line but I used plumbers strap to increase the slope and ensure it was draining properly. Mr Ferguson will monitor the system, it is cooling properly on departure.
