Upon arrival, I found that the capacitor for the downstairs unit was bloated. This is a sure indication that the capacitor has failed. I replaced the failed capacitor and tested the unit. The system is fully operational with no other concerns. The upstairs unit was operating and the refrigerant pressures were good. I noticed that the unit had a bunch of build up causing the unit to not be able to exhaust the heat properly. I performed a chemical cleaning and now the unit is cooling properly.
