-Contactor -Turbo Multi Use Capacitor - 5-2-1 Hard Start Kit Demand call for gas system from 2018 not cooling the house, just blowing warm air. Upon arrival the customer showed me the thermostat, attic access, and condenser outside. He mentioned that he changed the air filter and tried to reset power but nothing seemed to work. He then noticed that the thermostat (nest) was saying it wasn’t receiving power from the R wire. During my inspection I noticed the power switch in the attic was off after turning it on the system kicked on. I informed the customer the power switch was off and he believes he could’ve turned it off by accident when he was up in the attic changing the air filter. I then went outside with the customer and we noticed the unit outside wasn’t starting up. After further investigation we found that the capacitor was bad and the contactor was burnt up.
