Second opinion on a bad blower motor on a gas system from 2018. Customer stated he has his home warranty come out and they just told him his blower motor was bad. He wasn’t so confident in the diagnosis so he called us for a second opinion. During my inspection I turned the fan on at the thermostat and noticed that nothing turned on. I then turned the thermostat to ac mode and the outdoor unit kicked on but the blower motor did not. I went up into the attic and made sure the blower motor was getting proper voltage to it which it was. So the customs does in fact have a bad blower motor. I showed my video to the customer so he can see how I check the motor and so he can see it not running. Customer asked for a quote to replace it under warranty and to join our vip membership. When I contacted trane about the blower motor it is under warranty but the home warranty already started the warranty. I informed the customer and he said he will contact his home warranty to cancel that because
