Arrived at our clients home for a single system inspection. Mrs Crawford expressed concerns of a burning smell that came out of the vents from time to time. I began by locating the indoor unit in the closet unit and did a brief visual inspection. I then proceeded outside to test and check all of the electrical components and Freon pressures of the unit. The capacitor, contactor and hard start kit all tested within range. The compressor start and run ams as well as the blower motor amps also were in manufacture specifications. I went back inside and tested the indoor blower motor. The motor had high start amps due to the excessive dust/growth build up on the blower wheel. I showed pictures to Mrs Crawford and we discussed cleaning the blower motor during the winter time when she was not running the unit. I created and sent an estimate to her. She elected to sign up for maintenance today and I proceeded to rinse the outdoor coils and treat the primary drain line today. The unit is coolin
