I arrived to our clients home because he is having air balance issues particularly with the master bedroom zone. The master bedroom, closet and master bath are all warmer that the office and living room while been connected to the same space. I first identified the mixing box in the attic that would need adjusting and spoke to the homeowners regarding the steps and process I would take to measure and adjust the airflow to each individual vent for the zone. We also discussed that this is the second adjustment he is requesting, the first being September of 2024. He declined the service today and only asked I close the vent for the living room and “see how it goes” from there. We discussed how this is only guessing and not actually measuring CFM from the vents and it may not fix the airflow problem he is having. He is aware that there will be a charge for airflow adjustment in the future if requested.
