Today’s visit was for panel “. While talking to the customer to understand what needed to be addressed, I discovered that he has an older panel, a subpanel, and a circuit that is dead tripping. The subpanel is in good condition, and does not need to be replaced. However, the main panel is from 1984 and should be replaced. We would replace the service panel, replace the service cable, update grounding and bonding, install an emergency service disconnect, and install a whole home surge protector required by today’s safety and code standards. I also included an option to troubleshoot the circuit that is dead tripping. Customer would like to think about it and get back to us. While on site, he did explain to me about a lights on the back porch that was on constantly, and was not controlled by a switch. Upon further investigation, I found that the wiring in the switch was incorrect so I addressed the issue and replace the switch. Back lights are now working as they should. Please see atta
