The reason for today’s visit was a ripped service cable on the exterior of the home due to weather/tree being downed. While here today, we saw a 200 amp QO panel that was installed in 2002. The panel was very clean with proper labeling and wiring. We saw a cold water connection as well as a Ufer ground. We saw that the cable had a rip from the tree behind the home. The cable would be replaced from the point of connection to the interior panel. We also recommended on installing a whole home surge protector as well as installing proper ground rods to meet current code requirements.
