Performed the electrical maintenance today and found missing GFCI protection for the basement receptacles. We also found no GFCI protection for the sump pump. We recommended installing the GFI in the basement as well as replacing some of the old original switches on the first floor. We also noticed there was a motion sensor that wasn’t working properly on the post light. We ended up replacing a total of four single pole switches in the first floor hallway area and two three-way switches. We also installed a new photocell place at the motion sensor on the post light and installed an audible GFCI for the sump pump and a standard GFCI for the basement receptacles. The main panel is roughly a year old and an excellent condition and was done with a permit and buy a licensed company. Most of the receptacles in the home I’ve already been replaced and had GFCI protection in all required areas.
