Arrived onsite and the resident led me to the attic where he explained how hot it gets, the lack of circulation and his old house setup and what he is looking for. After going up into the attic and looking we would have to cut the plywood away from the gable vents because they overlapped the vent holes quite a bit. We would have to build a 2x4 frame around the gable opening on the right side of the house so it can properly be vented. On the left side gable opening we would also have to cut away the plywood so both ends of the attic are equally open. I talked to him about the standard fans vs quite cool and wrote up some options. I also made sure to let the resident know that it doesn’t happen often but if a nail pop is to occur it would need to be patched by him, but i wouldn’t need to be directly doing any drywall damage. After discussing options and what would be needed to complete the work he went with the quiet cool smart fan option and we got it scheduled for 7/15 at the 8:00am t
