Arrived onsite and the resident told me about genny looking at the outlet in the bedroom and not doing anything about it, and apparently said to the resident that her radio alarm clock was causing the outlet not to work. I could tell someone had pulled it out so i did as well and found that the connections were poorly made in the back of the box, and someone wrapped the jacket around the screws but didn’t strip the wire or tape it in an old metal box. I fixed the connections, stripped out the pigtails that were put on and taped and reinstalled the outlet and it now works properly. Apparently there was some confusion with what was done last time as well with the post light which i was able to clear up. In troubleshooting i found that the post light worked fine off the photocell, but the post head is currently going bad and flickers on and off on its own(when the photocell puts power to it) and is controlled by the farthest switch in the front door.
