The reason for today’s visit was to look at rewiring the lighting, circuits on the second floor. There is currently BX wiring, running through the house, and which day is the lighting boxes, which are all off center as Junction points for jumpers down to the receptacles. Customer stated that he wanted some rewiring done so there was current wire running to the lighting boxes. He also stated they wanted to put ceiling fans in both of the bedrooms. Both of the boxes in the ceiling for the bedrooms are not rated for ceiling fans, that would need to be replaced. We provided two solutions, which include removing the lighting boxes in the three locations and running new Romax wire between them all. With the solution, we would also need to run new wire down to the switches, as well as three receptacles between the two rooms.
