Reason for today’s visit with the customer was quoting multiple projects. The main project was running a 50 AMP Line for the new hard range. The additional project was correcting the outdoor receptacles. The breaker for the outdoor GFCI’s was dead shorting when fully attached. When the back half of the line was disconnected from the underground splice it held fine. The problem is likely originating from the UF running under the patio into the yard however it’s hard to determine exactly where due to it being covered. The kitchen circuit will have to be drilled down into the basement then ran through the bulk head then across the basement kitchen then up into the kitchen. I will consult with the master electrician on Monday and work up quotes for the work.
