The reason for this visit was to assess the damage done from the storm that just passed. We were able to quickly determine that a palled research and went through the house either from the storm or from a lightning strike which caused damage to several pieces of equipment in the home. We noticed that two GFCI‘s in the basement were burnt out, as well as the smoke detectors in the house. We also found that the gate motors were also damaged, causing the breakers to constantly trip and not reset. We went ahead and replace the bad GFCI‘s and tested power throughout the house as well as replaced the bad smoke detectors. We also went ahead and installed two new whole home.
