-arrived onsite and the customer showed us up to the master bedroom where he had bought an exhaust fan and smart switch for us to install. I discussed what it would take to switch them separately because as of now he only has a 14-2 wire going to the fan. After making options and discussing them with him he wanted to go with his fan, his switch, but have us redo the wiring to a 14-3 line and then change the breaker to a Siemens arcfault breaker as well to meet current code for the work being done. Took a deposit and will return 4/23 at 2pm to do the work. Arrived onsite, stared by cutting above the switch to get the wire ready to be dropped in and then went up in the attic to run the 14-3. I ran the new 14-3 wire down to the switch, and to the exhaust fan hole, and then junctioned and blanked the old exhaust wire in the attic. I cut in the new exhaust fan that the customer supplied, and it took a while but i got that secured and in place, and then got the new 14-3 wire in the switch
