York system retrofit in a 1970s ranch home. Removed outdated R-22 unit and installed a 16 SEER2 York single-stage AC with matched indoor coil. Brazed in new line set, pressure tested at 350 psi with nitrogen, and pulled vacuum to 500 microns. System charged with 6.2 lbs of R-410A. Total static pressure: 0.56 in. wc. System running clean.
No heat call converted to full replacement after diagnosing a cracked heat exchanger and multiple rollout trips. Installed a new York TM9V modulating gas furnace. Verified combustion readings: CO < 5 ppm, O2 at 6.2%. Adjusted gas valve for 3.5” manifold pressure and confirmed ECM blower programming via dip switch settings.
HVAC Inspection Customer would like heating system evaluated Found clogged flu intake pipe, left intake open and verified heating operation, informed customer that inducer motor is getting hot and may go out during the winter. System is operational
Complaint: No Heat Walking away from this one. Charged $50
Heat Repair - Wiring issue - Found bad igniter and replaced igniter Inducer bearings don't sound good. Thermostat wiring is done the way it is for a reason, presumably some breakage underneath the house, tried two other conductors to no avail. It’s currently a 3 wire set up at the stat with Y and G jumpered at the board. Suggest running new stat wire, furnace running at this time
No heat found bad pressure switch. Ordered new switch, will return with part on Tuesday Returned and replaced pressure switch, inspected flue and inducer motor, system is heating.
