Furnace Maintenance 1x Heating Check Up and outdoor unit is off balance. Installed rubber pads under outdoor coil to try to help level it out. To make it totally level, outdoor coil needs to be detached from lineset and the support pad under the unit would need to be reset. Due to pumping down system, fixing pad, and then recharging the system, price for that would be around $850. Customer also had an issue with the air intake for the furnace trying to freeze this past winter during super cold days. Most likely cause of the issue would be air intake recirculating air from exhaust causing warm humid air to freeze on contact with air intake pipe. Angled intake pipe away from exhaust. Customer will monitor and let us know of any changes in operation. Furnace was clean and everything checked out well. System is operating normally at this time.
