Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 46.5-gallon electric E2F50LD045V lowboy water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE38-S2-RH95-B lowboy model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater. Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.
