Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in a breakroom ceiling. After gaining access into the ceiling, we found that a cast iron drain line had cracked and was causing the leak. We cut out the cracked section of pipe and repaired it with new PVC piping and fittings; connecting onto the existing cast iron piping with new no-hub and Fernco couplings. While testing the kitchen sink's drain line, it backed up with water. We removed the sink’s P-trap and used a sewer machine down through the sink's drain line and cleared the blockage. After replacing the P-trap and testing for leaks and proper drainage, the issue was corrected. We ran hot water down the sink for several minutes and it drained properly.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. We dug down and found a leak on a section of a 2-inch PVC water main. We cut out the faulty section of pipe and repaired it with new PVC pressure piping and fittings. We also drove a copper support pipe in the ground at the 90-degree elbow to keep the water line from blowing out when it was under full pressure.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet in an upstairs women’s restroom not working properly. It was an ADA commercial toilet that would make a hammering noise whenever it was flushed. We replaced the toilet's Sloan flush valve and replaced a nearby hammer arrestor with a thermal expansion tank. We checked the unit for leaks and proper operation with no issues. Then we investigated a sewer odor in the front building stairwell but we did not detect any as there is no plumbing in that area to cause such an issue. Finally, we inserted a camera into the building's outside main sewer septic drain line to check its condition. Our camera revealed root damage approximately 100-feet from the building.

Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 50-gallon electric Rheem commercial water heater with a new 50-gallon electric Bradford White LE150L3-3NLWW commercial model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, a thermal expansion tank, new ball water shut-off valves, new copper ProPress water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a new brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater. Finally, we ensured that the unit’s T&P valve was properly vented and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature. We also insulated the unit's copper water inlet and outlet lines.
