Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 50-gallon electric Maytag water heater with a new 50-gallon electric Rheem PROE50-M2-RH95 model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed water heater pads, the new water heater, a thermal expansion tank, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater. Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking Maytag Series Twelve water heater. Our inspection found that the leak was coming from the T&P valve due to the water being very hot though the elements and thermostat were working correctly. We drained the water heater, replaced the T&P valve, and installed a new HydraPro H10000 thermal expansion tank. We then tested for leaks and proper operation with no further issues.

This would include performing the following work: 1) pulling the well's Franklin Electric 2445059004 submersible pump and black roll piping; 2) installing a new submersible pump, black roll piping, and wiring and reinserting them down into the well; 3) replacing the well's 30/50 pump switch, pressure gauge, and charging the well tank; and 4) resealing the well using a heat shrink kit.

Pride Plumbing responded to a sewage backup in the home. After inspecting, we found the septic tank full. We called in our pumping truck, uncovered the septic tank, pumped it out, cleaned the filter, ensured proper drainage and flushing, and covered it back up. We also provided a cost estimate to install two septic tank risers (so that the tank’s access covers would be at ground level and easier to access in the future).
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to 1) repipe and replace the drain lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to a) the fixtures in the kitchen and two bathrooms (sinks, toilets, and bathtubs/showers - replacing the toilet bowl flange and wax seal gasket, the P-traps underneath all the sinks and installing new PVC piping, fittings and supports under the house for each fixture); and b) the washing machine; 2) repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen, two bathrooms (sinks, toilets, and bathtubs/showers), the washing machine (installing a new washer box and hot and cold hose bibs), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel water supply lines); and 3) replace two outside hose bib spigots with new Woodford frost-free models.

Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a non-working 40-gallon Whirlpool electric low-boy hot water heater with a new 36-gallon electric low-boy Rheem PROE36-S2-RH95 666310 model. This included removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing the new water heater, new ball water shutoff valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit's electrical connections, and ensuring the unit was properly vented.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a 30-gallon electric Rheem hot water heater only producing luke warm water. Our inspection found the unit wasn't getting sufficient electrical power. We advised the customer to contact Duke Energy and have them send out an electrician to look at the unit.
Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate a sewer odor in the yard. Our investigation determined that the odor was coming from either the sewage pump or the leach lines. We advised the customer to contact a septic company to come out for a further diagnosis.
