Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a Kenmore 80 Series washing machine. Our inspection determined that the leak was coming from the hot-side boiler drain. After cutting the water off to the home, we removed the leaking boiler drain, ran new PEX piping and fittings up through the floor to the new valve's location, installed a new hot-side quarter-turn valve, and connected a new braided stainless-steel water supply from the valve to the back of the washing machine. We then turned the water back on to test for leaks and had the customer start the washer to make sure everything was properly working properly.
