Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a malfunctioning 40-gallon electric Bradford White M240L6DS5 lowboy water heater with a new 40-gallon electric lowboy model (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, thermal expansion tank (replacing a Zurn Wilkins XT-8 model), new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections, bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).

Pride Plumbing was called out for no hot water from a 50-gallon electric A.O. Smith E6-50H45DV 130 water heater. Our inspection determined that the unit's electrical breaker was faulty. We advised the customer to contact an electrician to come out and look at the issue. Pride Plumbing was called out for no water pressure from a Pfister single handle bathtub/shower valve. We took the shower valve apart and cleaned its aerators which were full of debris. Once reassembled, we tested the valve for proper working order with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the shower valve with either a new Delta single handle model or Gerber three handle model. This would include cutting an access in the shower wall, replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot and cold water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings, and adding new stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons for the three handle model.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) in the kitchen, installed a kitchen sink, dishwasher, and a refrigerator ice maker; 2) in the master bathroom, installed a lavatory, toilet, and bathtub/shower; 3) in the laundry room, installed the water and drain hookups for a washing machine; 4) installed a new Rheem water heater; 5) installed two outside hose bib spigots; and 6) made all the water and drain connections for each fixture to the main water and drain lines underneath the home. We also built a wooden box so the water heater could be safely kept outside the home.

Pride Plumbing responded to a sewage backup in the home. After inspecting, we found the septic tank full. We called in our septic pumping truck, uncovered the septic tank, removed its lid, pumped it out, cleaned the tank’s filter, ensured proper drainage and flushing, reset the lid, and covered the tank back up.
Pride Plumbing came out and installed a ball shutoff valve on an outside water supply line inside a meter box. We cut out a tee, installed two blackroll to PEX transition couplings, installed three 90-degree ells to give ourselves more room to work, and then installed the ball valve. We drained the water line through an outside hose bib spigot to ensure that all debris was out of the line.

Pride Plumbing was called out for no hot water from a customer installed electric water heater. Our inspection determined that after the customer installed the water heater, he did not bleed the air out of the tank and fill it with water before sending electricity to it; thus causing a dry-fire and cracking the unit's elements. We provided a cost estimate to rebuild the unit by replacing its elements and thermostats.
