Pride Plumbing was called out for high water pressure in the home that damaged a toilet. Upon arrival, we tested the home's water pressure and it was at 110 PSI. We then performed the following work: 1) replaced a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) underneath the home (attaching it to the existing main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings) with a new Watts LFN45BM1-DU-PEXXPEX 0009485 model; and 2) pulled the toilet, inspected its flange, replaced its wax seal gasket (with a new Mainline ML11580 model), reset the toilet, replaced the toilet bowl bolts and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house with new PEX and black roll piping and fittings.
