Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) called in our septic pumping truck, located and uncovered the home’s septic tank, removed its lid, pumped it out, cleaned the tank’s filter, ensured proper drainage and flushing, reset the lid, and covered the tank back up; 2) performed a smoke test; 3) cut off the water to the home, took apart a tabletop water heater, opened the cold-side and poured in some bleach, reassembled the water heater, turned the water back on, and turned up the unit's water temperature; and 4) removed a bathroom sink's popup assembly and cleaned hair out of it. We also provided a cost estimate to 1) repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink, dishwasher, and ice maker), at the washing machine, and in two bathrooms, with new PEX piping and fittings; and 2) repipe and replace the drain lines in the crawlspace, going to all the fixtures in the home.
