Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in a basement ceiling. After gaining access into the ceiling, we found that an upstairs shower's PVC P-trap was causing the leak. We cut out the P-trap and replaced it with a new PVC P-trap, connecting onto the existing PVC piping with a new PVC coupling. We then replaced the shower's drain with a new Oatey 42045 shower drain with a built-in stainless-steel grate. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace a leaking single-handle bathtub/shower faucet valve with a new single-handle model with chrome trim (shower head, faucet valve handle and cover, downspout diverter, and overflow and drain covers) - this would include cutting an access in the shower wall and replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot- and cold-water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings; and 2) remove and replace a kitchen sink.
