Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a washing machine's leaking copper water supply lines located inside a concrete slab. This would require us to: 1) jackhammer, cut and remove a section of the laundry room's concrete floor and then dig out the fill dirt to access and expose the copper water pipes underneath; 3) cut out and remove the copper piping and install new PEX piping and fittings, connecting onto the existing copper water piping underneath the home with new PEX transition fittings; 4) run the new PEX pipe up to the washing machine's ProPlus washer box and install new hot and cold boiler drains; 5) test the new water lines and boiler drains for leaks; and 6) replace the fill dirt we dug out and then mix concrete and replace the portion of the floor that was removed.
