Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the home. We uncovered the home's sewage pump and found that the pump, its float, and the tank were covered in grease. We used a water hose and sprayed off the grease the best we could, and the pump began working properly. We also provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) pump out the pump’s tank; and 2) pull and replace the sewage pump along with replacing its float, check valve, ball valve, and union, and placing a new control panel along with making the appropriate drain, discharge and vent pipe connections.
