We performed a 2 system safety check. We examined the electrical, drains, safeties, cleanliness, and refrigerant. We found that the capacitor and contactor for the upstairs unit was wore and ready to fail. The upstairs was starting with higher amps, the downstairs was starting with higher amps, both outdoor units were filthy, the downstairs emergency drain pan has rust deposits on the bottom side, and the thermostat for the downstairs unit may be failing. The refrigerant look low by the gauges, but we had perfect temperature splits. We told the customer and advised that we wait to see how they perform. If we need to charge the units, we can always come back. All work was been performed and collected on. Repairs the customer stated he was interested in performing
