Arrived on site to perform heating tune up on a 2006 Bryant unit. Client stated no issues. Cycled heater and was operational. Filter he would be buy and replace himself. Blower wheel is good. Motor has been replaced by energy company. Inducer motor is pulling max amps. Found static pressure high. Clean flame heating home. All safety switches are operational. Drain lines are good but have no safety overflow switches. Advised he should have at least one. Gas line has no sediment trap. Igniter is in range. Flame sensor is oxidized due to age. Found unit heating up at 61 degrees. Inspected heat exchanger and found it with big hot spots from over heating in past. Client is aware unit is really old but he stated he is waiting for it to completely fail. No protection on unit and recon adding protection to protect unit from electrical surges and power outages. Inspect attic and found black flex ducting used. Cycled unit and went over all findings and areas of concerns and client is aware. Adv
