Arrived on site to diagnose a no heating unit. Client stated home is knew and last year he had issues with heater. He stated that he also had unit relocated and after that he started having issues. At first ac would not run. He called someone out and they couldn’t fix it and he told the owner he could get them cooling but would have to by pass it and ac would only run. Now heater won’t run and would like to see if we could fix it all. Arrive and inspect units. Found reversing valve would not power on. Found last guy wired up power and the reversing valve so it can stay in cooling. Checked all Connections. Tested and checked thermostat were set for heat pump. All checked good. Jumped reversing valve and it did work. Tested and found white wire is bad. Advised maybe when they relocated unit to the side it may have cut or touched 2 wires together and is shorted out. Replaced and wired up all equipment with the blue thermostat wired to power the reversing valve. After doing so at co
