Reviewed issue with the Boiler and the Indirect Water Heater with the homeowner. Looked at the piping setup for the boiler and indirect. We need to find out if we can get an exact replacement for the indirect water heater and modify the piping for the system or if we need to go with an alternative indirect tank and modify system before creating the estimate. Took pictures of Model/Serial #’s of the indirect and the boiler in the system.
Performed QA on the High Velocity/AC system. Tested the wet switch and Ez trap safeties. Measured refrigerant charge and temperature delta. The ez trap was sweating into the drain pan because it was not insulated. Wrapped some attic insulation around the ez trap as a temporary solution. Also moved the wet switch in the pan and placed on a paper towel. Completed checklist form in system. Reviewed issue with the Boiler and the Indirect Water Heater with the homeowner.
