Louis did a great job as usual. Found a bad switch quickly and replaced it without issues.
Kurt and his team did a great job replacing a defective coil that was under warranty in a timely manner and without additional cost.
Response from DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company:
Phil, thank you for review and thank you for trusting us to service your unit!
Kurt did great. However being charged $160 extra on top of the $84 for the visit is totally unfair. And that is for a spliced wire. No parts or anything else. If that doesn’t get severely reduced, I will be looking for a different vendor. Because the trust will be broken.
Arrived on time, could not have been more professional, Excellent service. Thank you!
We have received excellent service from DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company. The administrative staff is friendly and professional and the service technicians are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking HVAC service.
Excellent service, kept me informed & very professional.
Checked no cooling complaint, found breaker tripped to outdoor unit. Reset breaker, air conditioner started, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop ok. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values ok. Checked main panel, found all connections tight. Found no reason for breaker trip.
Performed Quality Assurance on Bosch Heat Pump system. Reviewed installation and answered all questions homeowner had. Completed checklist form in system. Replaced the 18x30x1 Air Filter. Collected check for the balance of the Installation. Tested Wet Switch and tested Condensation Drain. While install could have been a little cleaner up in the Attic at the Air handler this passed the QA Inspection. Homeowner would like to sign up for the Service Plan at the Six Month Inspection.
Reclaimed and removed old airhandler from attic. Broke down into sections to removed from attic. Installed a new Bosch airhandler on existing platform in attic. Put a auxiliary drain pan underneath. Flushed copper lines from indoor unit to the new amana heatpump. Brazed and leak checked with nitro and bubbles. Put heatpump on pump up feet and on a level plastic pad with crush stone underneath. Installed a new disconnect box and electrical wiring to unit. Installed a new condensate drain with an ez trap wired into unit. Put a wet switch in drain pan as a safety. Tested unit in cooling and charged unit as needed. Tested condensate drain and checked for leaks. Modified supply metal as needed and taped and insulated all ductwork. Installed a t6 thermostat. Us timer not home payment not collected. Left house on cooling at 75*it was 87* in the house.m
Found contactor burnt and pitted, recommended replacement. Replaced 40 amp single pole contactor. Also performed precision a/c tune up on American standard a/c system. Replaced 20x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Blew out condensate drain. Tested condensation pump. Checked temperature split at indoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c system is working fine at time of service.
No ac, blank thermostat found no power to thermostat check wiring connections and found float switch for condensation drain malfunctioning, contacts would not close, replaced float switch and check operation also flushed drain, drain is draining ok, check refrigerant pressures 300/130
Checked outdoor fan motor not starting on its own. Checked fan motor ok. Checked run capacitor, found a 7.5 uf capacitor at 1.2uf. Replaced fan capacitor. Cycled air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Unico indoor coil replacement. Pump down refrigerant. Reconfigure coil and piping. Braze new coil. Pressure test. Evacuation. Opened service valves. Tested operation. Verified drain. Final refrigerant pressured 330 HI/ 123 LO 15 SH, 7 SC.
Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high ok flushed drain and test pump, pump takes long time to discharged, check filter installed new high efficiency filter, check indoor coil, lots of rust on copper coil, check outdoor unit refrigerant pressures, could not check high side pressure only back pressure reading 55 cycle 7nit capacitor and contactor ok would recommend start planning on upgrading system
Quoted to install two t10 stats, customer approved installation, Installed two smart T10 thermostats with room sensor on each one, check all settings and went over with customer on how to use thermostat
No heat found system on error code, showing limit open lock out, check all connections and limits ok, auxiliary blower switch was open, tap on switch and closed, check furnace operation and check cfm 1270 cfm supply temp 120 retun temp 68 cycle unit ok
Checked no heat complaint, found furnace locked out on limit, found all limits closed, a new filter is installed and people are working around the house, a contractor told me he had covered the returns today and the heat failed, reset lockout, started gas furnace, checked operation and temperature rise.
No heat, customer has a heat pump with high velocity air handler we have added refrigerant in the past, Found outdoor unit locked on low pressure switch reset switch and checked refrigerant pressures found refrigerant pressures low added refrigerant And check for leaks check out three unit no leaks found when up in the attic and check indoor coil found a little spot where dye showing verified leak with electronic leak detector Office to follow up with customer
Removed heater and installed a new amana gas heater on pump he existing return box . Installed filter inside unit like it was before. Adapted gas piping and flue piping as needed. Installed a new piece of metal to get the height to attach to existing coil. Taped , caulked and sealed all ductwork. Adapted to coil drain and heater drain into a new condensate pump. Pump is wired in to heater. Installed a new thermostat.
Performed heat pump tune up check electrical low and high ok replaced air filter, inspect and test back up heat ok also check indoor coil for any dye signs did not see any dye on inside and outside unit, needs more time to show up the dye, check outdoor unit refrigerant pressures ok 400/100 capacitor and contactor ok high side little higher than normal but is matched to high velocity unico system, cycle unit ok
Performed propane gas heat tune up check electrical low and high voltage, clean flame sensor and burners, burners have lot of rust, check gas pressure performed combustion test ok also noticed some condensation on bottom portion of secondary heat exchanger, also performed a smoke test and heat exchanger failed on test, combustion results are within safe range, still recommend having the system replaced,
