Performed QA Inspection on 2nd Floor and 1st Floor units. Spoke with homeowner about airflow issues. Found the 2nd floor unit was a 1-1/2 Ton and was set to 3 Tons. Changed Dipswitch settings for unit and reviewed airflow settings and noise with homeowner. Spoke to homeowner about return grill for 2nd floor unit. Found the return grill register is vibrating and making harmonic noises. He said he may buy a new return grill with wider fin spacing. Also adjusted the Auxiliary Heat setting from Comfort setting to a 2 Degree/30 Minute differential setup. Homeowner did not want the emergency heat to come on as much as it was. Addressed any issues and reviewed installs for both systems. Completed checklist form in system. Both installs were done nicely. The 2nd Floor unit did not pass the QA due to noise complaint from the customer. The 1st Floor Unit did pass the QA.
