Service call that the system was not keeping up to Temperature. Upon arrival found thermostat set to 74 and Indoor Temperature was at 74. Homeowner informed me that the system has run non-stop last few days/nights. Turned cooling down to 70 to test Operation. Found Supply versus Return Air Differential was only at 9-10 Degrees. Measured Refrigerant Charge and found System was low on Refrigerant. This was causing the low Supply Temperature and the System was not producing enough cooling to keep up with the demand. Added 2lbs of R-22 Refrigerant to System, Charging by Superheat. Liquid pressure on the system was higher than normal. Rinsed the Outdoor Coil with Water. The higher Liquid Refrigerant Pressures are attributed to the inefficiency and age of the system. If the system is low on Refrigerant than there is a leak in the system. Checked Air Filter on Unit. There is no Access to clean out the Condensation Drain Pipe which drains directly into the Sewer Line, no Trap is Installed on D
