Today we visited to provide pricing to replace/redesign the air conditioning system. The current system is mismatched and not working efficiently. The power bills are a problem with them sometimes being $400+. James put together the preliminary information for Sarah to choose the equipment she likes and sent it over.

This machine is the least expensive to initially install. It uses a single stage compressor and indoor blower motor. This unit is the most similar technology to the current system.

Today we visited to determine why the AC is not working. We learned the inside fan isn’t working because the control board has failed. After evaluating the entire machine and discovered more work is needed Mike decided to replace the unit entirely instead of spending any money on the 22 year old unit. We will be returning to install a new system.

Today we found the unit not working because the high pressure sensor was tripped. Once the sensor was reset and the unit turned on we learned the outdoor fan was not running. The fan was over heating and the dual capacitor was bad. With the new capacitor the unit would run, but the fan is over amping and may become a problem soon.
