Reason for today’s visit was to do a whole home safety inspection. Put my inspection I found that the devices in the home or of older style and are all backstabbed. Wall plug checking devices I found very loose connections meaning that they no longer grip outlets very well. I also found that the outlets are not tamper resistant meeting current safety standards for childproofing. We’re going through rooms we noticed that the bedrooms did not have any smoke detectors and the current smoke detectors that are existing or not interconnected. In the basement utility room we found the main panel locatedBehind the furnace. There is metal ducking and the furnace itself directly in front of the panel not leaving required Clarence which would be 36 inches. We also found that the panel is only 100 A and completely loaded. There is no space to add any future circuits and there’s currently tandem breakers that are not supposed to be in this type of panel. The washer receptacle as well as the sump p
