Swapped out motor tray Reason for today’s visit was to assess the bathroom exhaust fan that was installed on last visit in the master bathroom. Customer stated that fan was working fine up until recently when it started making a hissing noise and then they could smell something burning. As soon as I walked up to the fan and went to drop the cover I could smell that something had recently been burning inside of it. Customer had purchased a new friend that was The exact same as the fan that was installed. This type of fan has an easily replaceable assembly inside were no tools are required. I removed the motor assembly and install the new motor assembly in the existing tray and tested it out. Everything is working properly.
