We have repaired the power loss to the light fixture in the front bedroom. We discovered that the original wiring had been severed and an attempt, obviously by not a real electrician, to repair the wire had been made. I located a junction box that had its side blown out and wires in box were not spliced, tucked only under the wire nuts. This resulted in a lost neutral wire at the fixture. We recommend that arc fault breakers now be installed in the panel as this was another damaged wire we discovered in the attic caused by the attic carpentry work.
