-Arrived onsite and the resident showed me to a kitchen gfci that had tripped, and when they went to replace it there was no power. Tyler and i began chasing the circuit upstairs, followed it downstairs where it jumped around a bit but eventually came down to a workbench outlet that was all burnt up inside, but also the wire was knicked and blown up around the connector. I also preformed my assessment and found a lack of surge protection in the home, and then discussed how we wanted to tackle the issue at hand. We also talked to the resident about out vip membership which as also purchased with todays work.The feed comes upstairs from the outlet, goes to the gfci on the countertop, drops to the stove outlet, and then to one more countertop outlet as well, both countertop ones she replaced. We ended up adding bonding, to the hot water heater because i found that missing in the inspection, replaced the outlet box on the workbench with a new 1900 box and cover,and properly pigtailed the c
