-Arrived onsite and the resident showed me the front outlet he was plugged into when he cut through the cord. I opened that up and found it was definitely damaged but there was no power there. We went and took a look downstairs and looked for gfci’s that could be tripped, and then upstairs in the bathrooms and sure enough there was the tripped gfci. Original to the house and barely hanging on. He also showed us the back 2 outdoor outlets as well that were in poor condition on the same circuit and they also could use a replacment. I wrote up options for today and he went with getting all the outside ones done, adding a gfci on the front porch so it’ll trip there if there’s an issue. We also replaced the hall bath gfci that controls that whole circuit after replacment we tested and verified all outlets were working.
