Then they took us to the kitchen where up in the peak of the ceiling, there was an old inactive smoke detector she wanted blanked off, and there is already 3 on that main floor in the required locations so it was viable from an extension ladder. During our assessment we noticed there is no surge protection in either panels, and it failed back in 22 for not having bonding. So I brought that sticker to her attention along with my recommendations, and options for today. For now, we added the missing bonding, blanked off the old smoke in the ceiling with a white round blank plate, and then cut open the garage wall to add a new outlet for the tv on the other side of the garage. Everything’s verified working.
