Received a call to send plumbers out for inspection, scheduled and showed up at a perfect time. Matt and Tim went over all findings and gave me a list of priorities. Incidentally my sink had clogged the night before and Matt fixed it for me before they left. Saved me a lot of time and headache. Will always recommend!

Arrived on site customer stated that a they have no heat. Upon inspection found that the spill switch was closed reset it and ran the unit . Found that when it reached temp. The boiler was not shutting down but the damper would close and the unit was still firing causing the spill switch to go off. Contacted tech support and due to a 24v wire powering the control module when the leg for the high limit broke it was still pulling power from the 24v wire keeping the burning running they recommend removing the 24v wire. Ran unit and it was shutting off and on as it should. Recommend replacement of high limit switch and having a chimney company come out and inspect the chimney as per tech support. Homeowner would like to wait before making any repairs or inspections due to it operating as it should.
Customer stated that they had a leak on their floor after inspecting we found that the 3/4 pvc line for the furnace was backing up. Myguy was able to unclog it, MyGuy plumbing advised customer to call furnace company to get issue fully rectified.
Arrived on site customer stated that they have no heat. Upon inspection found that the boiler is not firing. Contacted tech support and they stated that the control module and the blocked vent sensor has failed. Replaced sensor and control module and boiler is now operating as it should but found that the damper needs to be manually open indicating that the motor had failed. Replaced damper as well and everything now appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Collected payment.
Re-piped PVC exhaust venting on power vent water heater. Cream Ridge, NJ 08514
Arrived on site client stated her toilet was clogged. Toilet is an American standard that we recently installed. Clog appeared to be caused by too much toilet paper. Augered toilet and it is now flushing as it should.
Arrived on site client stated a child put a toy down the drain and when they took the drain apart it broken apart. Upon inspection the lav faucet was constantly running and the emergency shutoff valves underneath would not turn by hand. Went downstairs to check on the main water shutoff valve and client has 2 gate valves that also will not turn by hand. Gave options with and without membership to do a complete rebuild under lav sink and customer supplied lav faucet with a new main water shutoff valve. Called water company to turn off water at the street and replaced gate valve with a new ball valve. Replaced both hot and cold emergency shutoff valves with new drainage underneath and a customer supplied lav faucet. Turned water on to test for leaks and there are no leaks.
Customer stated that there hose bib was leaking, after inspecting we found that the handle will not shut fully off. Myguy plumbing gave customer options to replace hose spicket. Customer would not like to move forward with work today
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a leaking water heater. Upon inspection found that the water heater is leaking and it is a manufactured home water heater. Gave options and customer would like to move forward with a customer supplied water heater. Price does not include any upgrades to water heater just a direct tank swap out any additional upgrades will be an additional cost. Customer is responsible for paying permit fee and scheduling inspections. Collected $59 and will credit towards any work quoted today. Collected payment.
Customer stated that they smelt wet wood in their bathroom after inspecting we found that they are gaps in between the wall and where the shower wall meet that could be letting water into, Myguy plumbing recommends to have all states restoration to come out and assess what is going on, customer also stated that they have not used that tub in awhile. Myguy plumbing advised customer to run water in the tub every month to ensure that the trap won’t dry out. As of right now everything is working as should.
Install new electric water heater in Beachwood Nj
replace macerating pump. hose bib and do shut off as courtesy. Arrived on site to replace macerating pump and install new hose bib with shutoff valve. Replaced macerating pump and ran all fixtures in downstairs bathroom to test for leaks. There are no leaks and the new pump is pumping as it should. Replaced hose bib with new shutoff valve and when done turned water back on to test for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
