Matt and Andrew showed up exactly on time, 9am. They went over the repairs and gave me a few options. They were very patient and I was able to make an informed confident decision . The whole job was approximately an hour and a half. Super clean. And the night before the repair, I was stressed and couldn’t remember where the shut off is in my basement. Matt went out of his way at the end of his shift, stopped at my house and shut it off for me, and marked it so that won’t happen again. It saved me from severe water damage and I am so grateful. From the awesome woman who answered my after hours call, to Matt and Andrew for the excellent finish.

Customer stated that there hose bib was leaking, after inspecting we found that the handle will not shut fully off. Myguy plumbing gave customer options to replace hose spicket. Customer would not like to move forward with work today
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a leaking water heater. Upon inspection found that the water heater is leaking and it is a manufactured home water heater. Gave options and customer would like to move forward with a customer supplied water heater. Price does not include any upgrades to water heater just a direct tank swap out any additional upgrades will be an additional cost. Customer is responsible for paying permit fee and scheduling inspections. Collected $59 and will credit towards any work quoted today. Collected payment.
Customer stated that they smelt wet wood in their bathroom after inspecting we found that they are gaps in between the wall and where the shower wall meet that could be letting water into, Myguy plumbing recommends to have all states restoration to come out and assess what is going on, customer also stated that they have not used that tub in awhile. Myguy plumbing advised customer to run water in the tub every month to ensure that the trap won’t dry out. As of right now everything is working as should.
Install new electric water heater in Beachwood Nj
replace macerating pump. hose bib and do shut off as courtesy. Arrived on site to replace macerating pump and install new hose bib with shutoff valve. Replaced macerating pump and ran all fixtures in downstairs bathroom to test for leaks. There are no leaks and the new pump is pumping as it should. Replaced hose bib with new shutoff valve and when done turned water back on to test for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
Arrived on site for a macerating toilet pump. Upon inspection pump seems to be burnt out and hums when plugged in. Client also wanted me to look at his hose bib outside. Hose bib leaks at this handle. Client has a gate valve for the hose bib. Will return at a later date to replace pump and hose bib.
Arrived on site to perform annual inspection. Clients shutoff valves work under sinks all toilets passed dye test. Found dishwasher tailpiece has a slow leak and the tailpiece itself is a little bent. Client tightened it and leak stopped for now but advised client if it happens again to call us back to replace it. Left estimates to replace 3/4 dishwasher tailpiece.
Arrived on site to a main line clog. Client stated when she runs water in the home it backs up out of the shower. Upon opening the clean out outside I found that it was full of water. Client has another clean out closer to the street that was also full of water. Snaked from the clean out closer to the street and found roots on the cable. Once the main was cleared of water I put a camera down the line and found root penetration in 3 different spots. The furthest root penetration being 25 ft out from the clean out towards the street. Told client to call town to see if it was on the towns side if not to call us back to give accurate quote for repair.

Arrived on site to do members annual plumbing inspection and member was interested in tankless descaling. While performing annual inspection we came across: - Nine emergency shut off valves that were stiff to turn, meaning that they are at higher risk of failing in the future. -Two gate valves for hose bibs that were seized and cannot turn, meaning in the case that hose bib fails you cannot isolate line for replacement or repairs. -Master bath toilet was loose and able to freely turn, meaning there could be a potential flange failure or bolt failure that could lead to leaks in the future. Built estimates based on our recommendations to resolve issues listed above for member to review and decide if they would like to resolve these issues. Member was interested in having a main shut off valve installed in hallway closet due to the fact that the homes primary and only shutoff is in the crawl space. Provided estimate for work to member. Arrived on site customer stated that they have a leak on their water heater. Upon inspection water heater was isolated stuck my hand into the burn chamber and found it was wet. Recommend replacement of the water heater. Installed new water heater and brought everything up to code. Everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time.
