Shane is Knowledgable and friendly! Work was done timely and cleaned up afterwards too! Highly recommend!
Great service—showed up on time, were polite and neat, had the part, and no more leak! Couldn’t ask for more!!👍🏻
Received a call to send plumbers out for inspection, scheduled and showed up at a perfect time. Matt and Tim went over all findings and gave me a list of priorities. Incidentally my sink had clogged the night before and Matt fixed it for me before they left. Saved me a lot of time and headache. Will always recommend!
Painless and communicative on options. My first experience with them was great!
Did a great job very clean and keep me up to what he was doing at all times
Kept me informed of work before and after completion, answered many questions, respectful.
The MyGuy Team was Amazing. Very informative. Chris and Carlos made sure you as the customer understand the process and why it needed to be taken care of.
Matt and Andrew showed up exactly on time, 9am. They went over the repairs and gave me a few options. They were very patient and I was able to make an informed confident decision . The whole job was approximately an hour and a half. Super clean. And the night before the repair, I was stressed and couldn’t remember where the shut off is in my basement. Matt went out of his way at the end of his shift, stopped at my house and shut it off for me, and marked it so that won’t happen again. It saved me from severe water damage and I am so grateful. From the awesome woman who answered my after hours call, to Matt and Andrew for the excellent finish.
Matt Copeland and Charles Long were excellent! They were friendly, honest, informative, and the service was quick and efficient! I would highly recommend them. Thanks guys!
Excellent service and communication from start to finish.
Charles and Matthew C came on time, were respectful, Professional and went right to work. Diagnosed and fixed the initial leak, inspected all of my plumbing, explained licensing, insurance and warranty. Price was reasonable, they cleaned after themselves and all within an hour. These two are “ My Guy’s” for any of my plumbing issues from now on.
Toilet adjustment in Bayville, New Jersey
Arrived on site customer stated stated that their Rinnai tankless is leaking. Upon inspection customer stated that they have a leak coming from the cabinet of the tankless. Removed front cover and found that the heat exchanger is leaking. Told customer in order for us to get everything covered under warranty we will need to contact Rinnai tech support and get all proper part numbers and run through their diagnostics. Gave options for repair vs replacement and at this time customer does not want to move forward with any work. Collected visual diagnostic fee and will credit towards and work quoted today.
Upon arrival customer explained that inspector had pointed out that the shower strainer was leaking into the crawlspace. After testing I found leak and recommended to replace shower strainer. Customer agreed to move forward with work. Tested for leaks and there are none found at this time
Upon arrival customer explained that she wanted the inspection to see if there was anything new plumbing related issues that could have lead to growth in the basement. She has an open case with her insurance and remediation company from previous water damage involving the old water heater we replaced. There was no new issues found at this time that could cause that. However while performing inspection we did come across a few unrelated issues that we recommend resolving. Our recommendations include clearing a lav sink drain (included with membership), replacing two shut off valves in the playroom bathroom one toilet valve, right valve under sink. As well as replacing faucet in same bathroom due to both handles being tough to turn and the age of faucet. Under the kitchen sink there was a repair made to the trap assembly that is not proper and we recommend replacing. In the upstairs bathroom the left handle of the glacier bay faucet squeaks and is tough to turn so we recommend replacing
Hardness 3 Ph 7.8 Chlorine .9 ppm Pressure 60psi Arrived to the home, customer states that whenever they flush the toilet they are experiencing water hammer. There are many reasons for water hammer can happen, mainly with high pressure in the home. I tested the water quality and water pressure during my through evaluation and discovered that the water quality and pressure fine. The sound does not seem to really appear as water hammer. It’s more of a ticking noise coming from the meter itself. Client stated this only started to happen 6 months ago and the existing meter is the older style. I advised to the client to have the water company swap out the meter to see if that resolves the issue. If the water company does swap out the meter and the home’s water pressure were to increase, I will need to install a pressure reducing valve “PRV” at the main with an expansion tank. If clients calls back to have us put a PRV in, I will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards that service.
Arrived to home home for no hot water. Upon inspection found that water heater is not too old and properly installed. Saw that pilot light was not lit. This can happen when there is a backdraft from flu piping or faulty gas valve. Customer stated she tried to light it. I clicked igniter one time and pilot lit. Customer was not aware that she had to hold down button until light appeared. Let customer know that gas valve could be bad or back draft happened and blew out pilot which is a rare occurrence. Left options for repair or replacement if this happens again in the future. Collected 39
