Hardness 4 pH 7 Arrived on site perform plumbing inspection. Checked all shutoff valves and put blue dye tabs in all toilets. Checked for leaks and all drain flow. Everything appears to be in working order at this time.
Arrived on site client had an issue with the dishwasher giving an error code and not draining. Client had other company’s over and said one small section of the dishwasher hose was too narrow. After taking it apart I found a barbed fitting in the hose. After removing the fitting I replaced the dishwasher tailpiece as a courtesy. Client was interested in new shower valve in upstairs master bathroom. Replaced delta shower valve with Moen Posi Temp shower valve. After replacing we checked for leaks and there are no leaks at this time. Shower valve is working as it should and replaced shower head for client.
Installed new toilet handle and lever. All work tested for proper function. All work functions properly. Member tested function and is satisfied with work.
Arrived on site client stated his toilet handle was not working properly. Upon inspection the rod for the toilet handle was bending after every flush. Will return tomorrow to replace toilet handle.
Reinstalled toilet, vanity and ice maker line to fridge. Had to replace flange for toilet. Tested work no leaks were found. Caulked vanity and toilet, everything is in working order.
We had recently come out about a week ago for a mystery leak coming from upstairs shower down below, tech on site was not able to recreate or confirm source of the leak. I arrived today for the same problem. I had cut a little bit more Sheetrock out of the way to see the shower strainer. With the shower strainer exposed, I turned the shower on and there are no active leaks at this time. I next pointed the shower head towards the shower doors and water is puddling up heavy on the floor of the bathroom. No matter where I spray the doors, water leaks on the floor. Also, the location of the stains line up exactly where the apron of the shower enclosure starts. I advised to the client to have a shower door company come out and replace the doors because the doors are no holding back any water whatsoever at this time. No 39$
Arrived to the home, customer are getting new floors installed and will need us to remove the toilet and vanity temporarily and disconnect water line for the fridge. Provided options and the client would like to go through with the work quoted. Disconnected plumbing under vanity and removed it. Pulled toilet and capped off the drain. I have put the fixtures in the garage for now. Disconnected icemaker line from the valve behind the fridge. *We are returning this Friday to reinstall the fixtures and the client would like to become a member as well.
Arrived on site client stated her handle would not turn all the way and the shower head kept dripping. Client has a Moen Posi Temp shower cartridge. After replacing cartridge we turned water back on we tested for leaks and there are no leaks at this time. Client has a 1 year parts and labor warranty.
Replaced shower cartridge in Howell NJ
Arrived on site to perform customers annual plumbing inspection, upon arrival customer explained that the master bath sink was draining slowly. Upon further inspection it was discovered that there was build up caught on the stopper assembly. Cleaned stopper assembly as curtesy and put back together. No leaks at this time. After performing plumbing inspection there was nothing concerning found at this time. Gave estimate to replace faucet due to stopper assembly being restricted due to backsplash. Also provided estimate for descaling tankless water heater. After discussing with customer that due to the age of the water heater being 7 years and it not being maintained that it runs the risk of damaging the unit if we descale it now. Customer chose not to go with descaling at this time.
