The Carols and his associate were polite and professional - very courteous, explaining everything without condescending. They were careful to be neat and clean up after themselves when the work was done.
Technician Carlos was was very thorough in doing the plumbing inspection. He clearly and completely explained what he would do during the inspection. He was professional in his manner. Carlos took his time installing the replacement filters. He diligently checked his work. 8

I called 3 places on Saturday morning with a bathtub faucet that would not shut off. Tim from My Guy Plumbing was the only call back I received within 5 minutes of my message. He was upfront and transparent with the pricing and also explained everything in a polite positive manner. He explained that emergency service would be costly and may not be able to accommodate me on a Saturday due to his staff being on site at other locations. I booked the first non emergency appointment on Monday and was so very satisfied with the work that both Devin and Matt did. The company is very professional and I was fairly charged with the work involved. Devin took his time explaining what work was required went over all of the company licenses and also showed me pictures of the products needed for the job I wanted done. I would highly recommend you call this business for any future plumbing needs. My Guy Plumbing gets 10 stars from me!

Upon arrival customer stated concerns for bathroom sinks and tub draining slowly as well as a toilet running. After inspecting we pulled build up out of both bathroom sinks and they drained properly. Ran snake through bathtub drain and flow improved. Recommended removing shower mat and switching over to a toe touch stopper. Faucet in master was dripping due to a failing cartridge, customer would not like to repair or replace at this time. Water pressure 65, water hardness 3, water ph 7.5, water meter located in basement.
Arrived in site and began to trench near existing hose bib upon inspection we were able to find the cold side water line that ran to the outdoor shower so instead of trenching a line all the way to where the copper stub of for the shower can connect and test to make sure there is no freeze breaks that we can see. Installed new hose bib and connected to existing water line for outdoor shower and we found to break on the valves to the cold side. Replaced leaking valves and tested all work everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Collected payment. Asked customer if they would like us to replace the expansion tank today they stated that they checked it over the weekend and the threads were not leaking anymore. Recommend replacement due to a leak being there when we were present Friday and because the bladder has failed on the expansion tank. Customer declined service at this time.
Replaced water line and set up winterization station for outdoor shower and hose bib
Arrived on site customer stated that they cannot locate the shut off valve for the outdoor shower and hose bib and had multiple people come out and try to locate it. Upon inspection was able to locate a shut off valve that was for the hot side but was not able to locate a shut off valve for the cold or a water line. Searched all over and all I was able to find was 1/2 copper line that capped and went into the ground towards the opposite end of the crawlspace. Recommend installing winterization set up for hot line to blow out be for winter and have access to valve right at the entrance that is more accessible then crawling 50’ into the tiny crawlspace. Also recommend setting a winterization set up for the cold line we are going to install and run all the way to the outdoor shower. We will have to dig approximately 10’ outside of the home install pex in the ground tie in hose bib with new boiler drain and adapt back to existing copper for the outdoor shower.
