Set up appointment five days prior to them coming out told them what I needed done for my Locinvar unit waited around all day came toward the end of the appointment time and couldn’t do anything would have to come back with a different technician because the guy they sent didn’t know anything about it .They were not prepared to work on my unit when I asked them if they could work on my unit .Very disappointed

Charlie came to my house to replace two bibs that were leaking and loose. He was very professional and knowledgeable and arrived during the time window I was told. He was also very personable. He took the time to explain to me how they are supposed to properly work. I have a 2 year warranty as well for the parts from this job, and signed up for their yearly maintenance plan. When I need plumbing work again, I will absolutely call My Guy Plumbing, and I will ask specifically for Charlie to do the work.

Hardness 5 Ph 7.2 Pressure 35psi. Annual plumbing inspection completed. Attempted to unclog lav sink, was able to pull a lot of hair and debris from the drain. The drain is draining better but is still backing up slightly. All the valves in the home are working great and no visual leaks can be seen at this time. We are unable to go into the crawlspace due to there being about 6inches of water throughout the crawlspace. Lastly, there is a freeze break that going into an addition of the home, the access opening to enter the crawl in approximately 9inches and both me and my partner are unable to fit. We are going to reach out to client to get them back on the schedule with a smaller technician to give a proper estimate to fix the freeze and break and relocate the water main to inside the home.
We had recently replaced the 50 gallon electric water heater in the home that was over 14 years old, at the time of completion I turned the breaker back on and the water heater made the usual hissing sound, indicating that the elements are heating up. I arrived today due to no hot water, went to breaker and saw it tripped, turned it on and wires from the timer box started to spark. The wires appeared to be melted and replacement is highly recommended to get hot water. I have passed of Tower Bridge Electrical to further diagnose issue with breaker and timer. Client is fully aware and understands this issue
Arrived to the rental property for a leak in the crawlspace coming from the toilet on the first floor half bathroom. I went into the crawlspace after flushing the toilet and discovered a leak whenever the toilet is being used. The toilet was manufactured in 2009 and the tenants state the it clogs regularly. I provided options for repairing or replacing the toilet, client would like to go through with replacement. Removed water from existing toilet. Pulled toilet and cleaned surface of the floor. Supplied and installed brand new American Cadet Pro toilet. Supplied and installed new wax seal, Johnny bolts, and supply line. Secured toilet to existing flange. Flushed toilet numerous times to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Caulked base of toilet as well. *Repaired existing flange as a one time curtesy due to not making client aware of that service when presenting options.
Arrived to home for frozen kitchen pipes. Upon inspection and all information taken in before the call, removed sprayer for kitchen faucet and saw that it was full of sediment. Cleaned out and there is full pressure to faucet. Informed customer and showed her how to do this in the future. There is no warranty on this because it can happen again which is why I showed how to fix it if it does happen again.
Arrived to the home, client states no hot water I discovered that the existing water heater is 14 years old, I highly recommended replacement due to the age. I provided options for replacement, Clint would like to go with the replacement and be a member - turned off water to home - drained and removed existing water heater to the home - supplied and installed new 50 gal electric water heater - supplied and installed new binding water and shut off valve - secured all connections and turned system on to check for leaks ** are no leaks at this time - reconnected electrical, turned system on and water heater is working properly * permit fees are at home owners cost *customer is now member * electrical will need to be brought up to code prior to the inspection, client is aware * Client would like the permits to be mailed to their home.
Cut out bursted pipe and add new boiler drain Arrived on site client stated she had a leak outside. Upon inspection I saw the leak and turned the water off to that boiler drain outside. There is a ball valve for that hose spigot outside. Cut out existing boiler drain and added a new one. Strapped the new hose spigot as the old one was not strapped. There are no leaks at this time and advised customer to make not to leave the hose attached during the winter and to keep the water off until the weather gets warmer.
Arrived on site to complete customers annual home inspection after inspecting MyGuy plumbing wrote estimates on what we found. For today customer would just like all options emailed over to them.
Arrived on site customer stated that their water heater was not getting hot enough. When arrived on site, MyGuy plumbing noticed the water heater is 13 years old and was set to very hot. MyGuy pluming gave customer options to rectify what we found when at the home. Customer would like to move forward with all work. After all work was completed, MyGuy plumbing tested all work and turned the water back on to the home. At this time their are no leaks found. Everything is working as should no issues. MyGuy plumbing registered water heater with Bradford white
Arrived on site customer stated that their water heater was making a whistle sound. After inspecting myguy plumbing wrote up estimates to get what we found rectified. For today customer would just like all options emailed over to them.
Unfreeze line first hour Ariveed to home for frozen pipe. Upon inspection found that meter was frozen on both home and street side. Saw ice in poly line. MyGuy thawed poly line using heat gun. Successfully thawed line also after meter on house side. Water is on. Meter is not spinning meaning there are no other leaks after the meter.
Arrived on site customer stated that their daughter had dropped the shower caddy on to the handle of the shower and now the shower will not shutoff. After inspecting we found that the cartridge is not shutting off the water. MyGuy plumbing gave customer options to rectify issue. Customer would like too move forward with replacing the cartridge. After all work was completed, MyGuy plumbing tested all work for leaks. At this time their are no leaks found everything is working as should. MyGuy plumbing advised customer to move shower caddy to the back of the shower to prevent issue from happening signs

Arrived on site to perform plumbing inspection. Today we found that underneath the kitchen sink there are old gate valves for emergency shutoff valves underneath the sink and there is a saddle valve for the ice maker. There is also an S trap with an accordion style tailpiece as well. Left options for a complete rebuild and to add a studor vent underneath the sink.
Arrived on site customer stated that they had a leak on their flu pipe, after inspecting we informed the customer that due to the cold weather outside, and the boiler exhausting the leak could be due to condensation, we also advised customer to have a roofer come out and assess the roof cap.
Arrived on site to perform plumbing inspection. Upon inpection we found 2 leaking shutoff valves in the home. There is one leaking valve for the dishwasher and client has a brass dishwasher tailpiece I recommend to get replaced. There is also a leaking valve on the hot side in the hallway bath under the lav sink. Client has a tankless water heater that has not been flushed yet. Today we flushed the tankless water heater.
