Javon did an excellent job! He cc replaced the old galvanized drain pipe with all new PVC. Problem solved. No more backed drain for the shower or washing machine! This is the second time I’ve used My Guy Plumbing. They’re my go to for anything plumbing.

My neighbor suggested this company. It was an urgent situation so, I wasn’t able to shop around. Devin is professional and the work was completed properly. The price was high but expected. I joined membership to save a couple of hundred dollars. I’m not sure that I should have. It covers inspection checks and water heater drain and discount on service repairs if needed. However, it sounded good, but with a well maintained home, needing a plumber is not often. The financing offered is a pia. The financing company is based in Boca Florida and are minimally acceptable. I would have sought different options for a loan. But, when faced with a crisis, it sounded good. The job also took several days to fix due to bad weather. Devin and helper worked very hard digging out the broken pipe. Overall, the work completed is satisfactory. My front door and porch was covered in mud for a few days so, we had to use the side door to go in and out of the house. I would have liked to have an option to fix top of sewer pipe which is cracked open; it doesn’t affect the performance but it is an eyesore to me. At the time I just didn’t know better because it was a huge mess. Now, to fix it will be another big process and expense. The company tried to add a personal touch by sending us a my guy plumbing soft lunch cooler. It’s not a bad company but it’s definitely not a five star. The financing company is a one star. I wish them well as everyone was kind and professional.

Over three years ago we had replaced the sewer ejector for the client, I arrived today due to the client stating that after only one flush the pump goes off. I removed the wire plug and discovered that the water level in the pit is very high even after it discharges. I advised to the client that removing the lid and checking for any debris would be the best course of action going forward. Client has requested this service to be in the morning time frame. I had reached out to the office and we are getting them on the schedule for Friday morning.
Arrived on site to complete customers annual home inspection. After inspecting we found some issues that should be rectified, for today customer would like to get his lav faucet we installed last year that is leaking replaced, myguy plumbing replaced faucet under warranty. Please note that warranty length does not get extended, warranty is still from when the faucet was installed the first time. After all work was completed myguy plumbing tested for leaks and everything is working as should
Arrived to the home for no hot water, the existing 40 gallon power vent is no on and there is an error code on the gas valve stating a flammable vapor sensor lockout. I reset the gas valve and the water heater turned back on at this time. The unit was installed in 2014 and is not covered under warranty and part for this unit maybe very hard to find. I advised to the client that due to the age, replacement is highly recommended. Client would like to go over options and if they call us back for replacement, I will then credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the install. MyGuy Plumb8ng can not provide any warranty for resetting the gas valve today.
Fixed leak on shower head in Tom’s river nj
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a wet spot in the ceiling. Upon inspection found that the attic above the wet spot is dry and the only wet spot is on the surface of the ceiling in the bathroom. Also noticed that the connection between the shower head and the shower arm had to streams of water spraying up but is not reaching high enough to get the ceiling wet. Recommend fixing the leak on shower arm. It could potentially be customer is taking long hot shower and the moisture is building up and causing the water stains in the ceiling and the fan in the bathroom is not working properly. Messed around with shower head and got the stream to spray upwards towards the ceiling recreating the issues the customer was talking about. Replaced shower head gasket and tested all work and everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Waived diagnostic fee.
Arrived on site client stated they had a leak in the crawlspace. When opening the crawlspace there was sewage at the entrance and I was unable to see the leak. Crawlspace needs to be cleaned out in order for us to repair the leak. Will credit back the visual diagnostic when client calls back to perform work.
Arrived on site client stated he had a leak in the crawlspace. Upon inspection I found 2 separate leaks. One being for the kitchen and another for the shower. Also found that clients emergency shutoff valves under the sink should be replaced due to one leaking and the other not able to be turned by hand. Client also has 2 gate valves on the main and recommend that at least one be changed. Left estimates to replace all valves and to fix leaks in the crawlspace or to just fix leaks in the crawlspace. Will credit 59 towards work if client calls to reform work.
Arrived to the home, client is in the process of renovating the home and have a stove on site. The existing gas line for the stove does not accommodate the space behind the new stove so rerouting the gas line is needed. Turned off gas to the home. Client cut open Sheetrock already. Disconnected existing fittings. Supplied and installed new gas pipe and fittings. Secured all connections. Added a gas cock for the line and plugged it off. Turned gas back on to the home. Checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Relight water heater and boiler as well.
Arrived on site customer stated that they had a clog in the shower and removed and now they are hearing a gurgling sound occur when the heat runs. Upon inspection found that the condensation discharges into the shower drain line and that is the noise that they are hearing in the shower probably never noticed due to the massive amounts of hair they pulled out. Also found a leak on the shower strainer and found that the gasket and nut for it are not set properly gave options to replace vs. repair and customer would like to repair shower strainer remove not gasket reinserted pipe to strainer. Tested all work and everything appears to be working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time collected payment. No warranty on repair.
Arrived at customers home for a leaking tub spout and for the shower head leaking while tub spout is on. After diagnosing the problem and presenting options we replaced the tub spout. We installed a brand new brushed nickel tub spout and re caulked. After replacement the tub spout is working as intended. While the tub spout is on, there is still water coming from the shower head. This is most likely due to the tub spout being run in PEX, which is incorrect. I left the customer with options if they choose to rectify this problem in the future.

Myguy plumbing recommends replacing and removing all the valves that are unnecessary, and removing shark bites. WATER HEATER -customer would like their tankless water heater flushed Today myguy plumbing arrived on site to complete all work from home inspection, after all work was completed myguy plumbing turned the water back on to the home and tested for leaks. At this time there are no leaks present and everything is working as should no leaks.
Drained and disconnected existing water heater from the home. Supplied and installed new 40gallon natural draft water heater. Supplied and installed new copper pipe, copper fittings, flue piping, gas piping and ball valve. Secured all my connections and turned the home back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Purged the system as well. *Registered water heater for the client. *Permit fees are at home owners cost.
