Javon did an excellent job! He cc replaced the old galvanized drain pipe with all new PVC. Problem solved. No more backed drain for the shower or washing machine! This is the second time I’ve used My Guy Plumbing. They’re my go to for anything plumbing.

My neighbor suggested this company. It was an urgent situation so, I wasn’t able to shop around. Devin is professional and the work was completed properly. The price was high but expected. I joined membership to save a couple of hundred dollars. I’m not sure that I should have. It covers inspection checks and water heater drain and discount on service repairs if needed. However, it sounded good, but with a well maintained home, needing a plumber is not often. The financing offered is a pia. The financing company is based in Boca Florida and are minimally acceptable. I would have sought different options for a loan. But, when faced with a crisis, it sounded good. The job also took several days to fix due to bad weather. Devin and helper worked very hard digging out the broken pipe. Overall, the work completed is satisfactory. My front door and porch was covered in mud for a few days so, we had to use the side door to go in and out of the house. I would have liked to have an option to fix top of sewer pipe which is cracked open; it doesn’t affect the performance but it is an eyesore to me. At the time I just didn’t know better because it was a huge mess. Now, to fix it will be another big process and expense. The company tried to add a personal touch by sending us a my guy plumbing soft lunch cooler. It’s not a bad company but it’s definitely not a five star. The financing company is a one star. I wish them well as everyone was kind and professional.

Replace t&p Arrived to home for leaking t&p valve. Upon inspection found that water heater is set in between low and hot and that’s how it has been set. To incoming water pressure and it was at 60 psi. Customer has Home Depot water heater and it seems that the t&p had just failed. Heater is only 5 years old. Still gave options to replace water heater and also add expansion tank. Today MyGuy supplied and installed new t&p valve and tested for leaks, there are none at this time. If this issue happens again I recommend replacing unit with a new and reliable water heater and also adding an expansion tank to ensure the problem doesn’t continue to happen.
Kitchen clog and basket strainer install in Toms River NJ
Arrived on site to hydro jet kitchen drain. After hydro jetting multiple times and snaking multiple times I tested for drain flow. Kitchen sink is now draining as it should. Clients basket strainer is old and rusted away. Replaced basket strainer with a new 3/4 dishwasher tailpiece. Client can now use their washing machine and kitchen sink.
Arrived on site customer stated that they had a dripping shower head. Upon inspection found that the cartridge had failed. Replaced cartridge and installed new shower head tested all work and everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Collected payment.
New water heater, 1 main shut off valve with membership Began draining old water heater, then cut all connections to it removed heater. Brought new water heater in, made up all connections to new heater. We change old valve with new ball valve at main going towards house. Customer got wrong vanity top as the old 1 is towards the left and the new is centered so it can’t be placed at this time. We will be coming back at a later time when customer gets new base for vanity. But once everything was said and done we checked for leaks, there are no leaks at this time.
Snaked and inspected sewer line. Toms River, NJ 08753
Flush water heater, re hang kitchen drain line, and main water shut off valve Arrived to home for inspection. We have done quite a bit of work here. Only covering thing customer had was flushing water heater. I found old style shut off valve for main and kitchen drain line straps were broken. MyGuy replaced main shut off valve, added reliable hangers for drain line and flushed water heater. There are no leaks at this time.
Arrived on site client stated their toilet would not fill with water. Upon inspection when flushing the toilet the chain would get stuck keeping the flapper up and the fill valve constantly running. Toilet guts are old and recommended either minor rebuild or new toilet. Client would like to just replace the old toilet at this time. Installed new toilet with new wax ring, Johnny bolts and supply line. Turned water on to toilet and flushed multiple times to test for leaks. There are no leaks at this time and toilet is flushing as it should.
