My neighbor suggested this company. It was an urgent situation so, I wasn’t able to shop around. Devin is professional and the work was completed properly. The price was high but expected. I joined membership to save a couple of hundred dollars. I’m not sure that I should have. It covers inspection checks and water heater drain and discount on service repairs if needed. However, it sounded good, but with a well maintained home, needing a plumber is not often. The financing offered is a pia. The financing company is based in Boca Florida and are minimally acceptable. I would have sought different options for a loan. But, when faced with a crisis, it sounded good. The job also took several days to fix due to bad weather. Devin and helper worked very hard digging out the broken pipe. Overall, the work completed is satisfactory. My front door and porch was covered in mud for a few days so, we had to use the side door to go in and out of the house. I would have liked to have an option to fix top of sewer pipe which is cracked open; it doesn’t affect the performance but it is an eyesore to me. At the time I just didn’t know better because it was a huge mess. Now, to fix it will be another big process and expense. The company tried to add a personal touch by sending us a my guy plumbing soft lunch cooler. It’s not a bad company but it’s definitely not a five star. The financing company is a one star. I wish them well as everyone was kind and professional.

Replace sediment and carbon filters and auger toilet Arrived to home to replace filters for big blue. MyGuy supplied and installed big blue carbon and sediment filter, purged and tested for leaks. There are none at this time. We also auger toilet that had light stoppage. Work complete. Mail hard copy of receipt
Arrived to home for annual inspection. Upon inspection found a few issues. First, in our summary it states that customer would like estimate for outdoor rinse station for spring time. Seems as the handle had blown off and broke inside of the valve body. 2 out of the 3 toilets in the home are very loose indicating a bad flange. Gave options for all 3 because they are the same age and seem to be installed by same person at same time. Install error could have occurred here. Left options for either pull and reset and or replacement toilets which include new shut off valves for each one. If flanges are good then we can remove from estimate but will not know until toilet are pulled and inspected. Incoming pressure to home is 81 psi. Explained to customer high pressure can limit the health of entire plumbing system which is why we test for pressure and offer solutions to combat. Water quality passed with hardness of 2 and ph of 7. Left options for all. Customer was not on site so I told him t
Arrived to the home, client states that periodically their existing Kohler toilet will run and then shut off, at first glance, I diagnosed this issue as failing parts inside the toilet. The toilet is approximately 10years old and the parts on it are original. I provided options and the client would like to go through with the rebuild at this time. Disconnected and removed existing fill valve, supply line, and flapper seal from the toilet. Supplied and installed new fill valve, supply line and direct replacement flapper seal. Secured all my connections and adjusted height of new fill valve. Turned valve back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. *Cleaned out pop up assembly in the same bathroom for the client as a one time curtesy. *Client has declined having me test their water quality at this time.
Supplied and installed brand new Moen shower valve with remodel plate. Turned water off to the home and drained the system. Cut out and removed existing shower valve from the home. Prepped copper pipe for new install. Soldered all my connections. Reinserted the cartridge and stops. Turned the water back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Installed new shower trim. Caulked shower trim as well.

Customer wanted to change invoice and for now only replace shower strainer which was the main issue. MyGuy supplied and installed new shower strainer and tested for leaks. There are none at this time.
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a fireplace that they do not know how to work. They also had questions on some shut off valves located in the home. Upon inspection looked a couple valves for the washing machine and confirmed that they were on and working and tagged main shut off valve in the home. Inspected fireplace and found pilot light was already lit and the switch just needed to be turned on showed customer how to work it. Collected visual diagnostic fee and will credit towards work quoted today.

Arrived on site client stated he would like for us to install his tub spout after he attempting to get it off himself. Upon inspection client has access behind the wall and I noticed there multiple shark bites behind the wall. Offered to replace all shark bites with new diverter. Also saw that client has a gate valve for his water main and offered to replace. Client would just like to replace tub spout today. Tested for leaks and there are none at this time.
Correcting crossed water lines in a limited access area Arrived to unit for uncommon issue. Upstairs was vacant and water was off but still had hot water to bathroom sink. Unit downstairs was on. Maintenance opened up multiple spot of Sheetrock so we can further diagnose. Unit downstairs also did not have hot water to lav faucet when water heater upstairs was off. This told me there was a cross in the line somewhere. Came to find out that 2 tees off if the main branch were swapped . MyGuy diagnosed and corrected issue by cutting out tees and re connecting to correct lines. Turned water back on to both units and did multiple tests. Unit water lines are now separated and each unit has its own hot water lines. There are no leaks at this time. MyGuy is not responsible for Sheetrock that was removed.
Arrived on site client stated he had a leak in the ceiling from his shower on the second floor. Upon inspection client already had the ceiling open and the pipes exposed due to down drywall. Leak appears to be coming from the shower strainer. Shower strainer suddenly started leaking causing water damage to the ceiling. Also found leaking hose bib outside possibly due to freezing and client has gate valve for the spigot. Clients main water shutoff valve is also a gate valve and would recommend to replacement.
Arrived on site customer stated that they have two leaking hose bibs. Upon inspection found that the front hose bib has a small drip and the back hose bib leak when in use. Gave options and customer would like to replace all 3 shut off valves on cold side underneath kitchen sink and install 2 hose bibs. Performed work stated above and tested all work and everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Collected payment.

Arrived on site client state her toilet was running sometimes when not in use. Replaced the flapper with a blue Gerber 3” flapper. Toilet is working as it should.
