My neighbor suggested this company. It was an urgent situation so, I wasn’t able to shop around. Devin is professional and the work was completed properly. The price was high but expected. I joined membership to save a couple of hundred dollars. I’m not sure that I should have. It covers inspection checks and water heater drain and discount on service repairs if needed. However, it sounded good, but with a well maintained home, needing a plumber is not often. The financing offered is a pia. The financing company is based in Boca Florida and are minimally acceptable. I would have sought different options for a loan. But, when faced with a crisis, it sounded good. The job also took several days to fix due to bad weather. Devin and helper worked very hard digging out the broken pipe. Overall, the work completed is satisfactory. My front door and porch was covered in mud for a few days so, we had to use the side door to go in and out of the house. I would have liked to have an option to fix top of sewer pipe which is cracked open; it doesn’t affect the performance but it is an eyesore to me. At the time I just didn’t know better because it was a huge mess. Now, to fix it will be another big process and expense. The company tried to add a personal touch by sending us a my guy plumbing soft lunch cooler. It’s not a bad company but it’s definitely not a five star. The financing company is a one star. I wish them well as everyone was kind and professional.

Installed new boiler drain for irrigation system. Toms River, NJ 08755
Arrived on site customer stated that the heat was constantly running and they had changed the thermostat. Upon inspection found that the thermostat was installed wrong and they had the white wire in the green terminal. Rewired and everything appears to be in working order. After explaining how the Navien works and servicing customer decided that they would like to move forward with replacing the condensate line and installing a water conditioner along with a new valve for the outside hose spigot. Performed all work stated above and everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Installed customer supplied shower head as a courtesy as well.

Hardness 3 PH 7.4 Arrived to the home, customer states the dishwasher does not work and the valve for it is seized. I looked under the kitchen sink and noticed that all three valves are seized. I was able to turn the dishwasher on so it appears that the dishwasher is currently working. There was a leak under the sink coming from the kitchen faucet that is failing. I highly recommend replace of the valves and faucet. I provided options and the client would like to purchase their own faucet and have us come back and install it with new valves. If client does call us back we will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the work to be completed
Arrived on site customer stated that they are interested in having their ro system filters replaced and having a whole home filter installed. Upon speaking with the customer found that their main issues are orange staining in the shower and itchy skin. Customer stated that their home in Florida has a softener system and since she’s been in this home see noticed itchy skin. Based on concerns we recommend installing a softener system that will serve as a sediment, carbon, and softener system that will take care of all of their concerns. Customer is not looking to invest too much into filtration due to this being their second home so we also offered a whole house carbon filter that will remove taste odor and iron staining. Customer interested in replacing ro filters and faucet as well. Gave options and customer would like to speak with husband before making any decisions. Collected visual diagnostic fee and will credit towards any work quoted today.
Attempted to snake sewer line through toilet flange. Toms River, NJ 08753
Arrived to the home, customer has a dishwasher on site they would like us to install, also replacement of two hose bibs. I provided options and the customer would like to go through with the work to be completed. Installed a customer supplied dishwasher. Disconnected and removed existing dishwasher from the home. Made up electrical, water, and drain connections. Secured my connections and ran the dishwasher through a cycle to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Supplied and installed two brand new frost free hose bibs. Disconnected and removed existing hose bibs from the home. Secured new hose bibs to the home. Made up copper connections. Turned ball valves on for both hose bibs and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. *Warranty for hose bibs will be voided if customer leaves a hose on during the winter.
Customer stated that they went to install a new fridge but the appliance company said the bien owner needs to call a plumber. After inspecting we found that customer has a saddle valve in the crawlspace for the ice maker line, MyGuy plumbing gave customer estimates to replace shutoff valve or to run a new line from under the sink. Customer would like to move forward. We will be returning Wednesday to complete work
Arrived on site client stated his garbage disposal had a leak to it. Upon inspection leak was coming from the bottom of the disposal. Replaced disposal with the same 1/2 horsepower honey badger disposal. After installing I checked for leaks and there are no leaks at this time.
Arrived on site to complete customers annual home inspection. After inspecting, MyGuy plumbing wrote up estimates to get what we found rectified. For today customer would just like all options emailed over to them, at this time everything is working as should.
Arrived to the home, client has a dishwasher and kitchen faucet on site that they want us to replace. I provided options and customer would like to go through with the work quoted. Installed customer dishwasher. Disconnected and removed existing dishwasher from the home. Made up water, drain, and electrical connections. Secured all my connections and ran a cycle to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. *The existing dishwasher appears to be refurbished and has a crack on the front panel, client is aware of this. Installed a customer supplied kitchen faucet. Disconnected existing faucet. Cleaned surface of the counter top. Secured faucet and made up water connections. Ran water and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
Arrived on site client stated they had a home inspector say the tub spout diverter needed to be changed because it was letting out too much water when diverting to the shower. Replaced the tub spout and there is an improvement but small amount of water will still get by.
Arrived to the home, customer states a leak from the overflow plate for the existing glued tub drain, after many attempts I was able to recreate a very small drip from the gasket, I then tighten the gasket and the leak appears to stop at this time. Client is aware that there is no warranty for today, and if the leak arises again I will need to replace the tub drain for the client. If they called us back to replace the drain I will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the replacement.
New tub waste and overflow, replace cartridges on faucet Arrived to home for leak in ceiling. Upon inspection found that draywall needed to be opened to further diagnose. Today MyGuy supposed and installed new Tubwaste and overflow and replaced cartridges on lav faucet. Tested for leaks, there are none at this time.
