I needed a Moen hose replacement; not a faucet. $900!! Then, $350 because he had to go buy the part. My son came over and fixed. $20 at Home Depot.

Arrived on site performed annual inspection and boiler cleaning. Upon inspection found 1. Customer has a failed can vent on boiler. Recommend replacement and purge 2. Customer has 3 sharkbite angle stops in hallway bathroom. Recommend compression or sweat angle stops 3. Customer had issues with back to back toilet siphoning out. Recommend repiping with two separate tee wyes and tying back into main drain. 4. Customer has improper tailpiece on hallway lav sink. Recommend proper tailpiece to be installed. Gave options and customer would like to get everything done at a later date.
Repair broken drainage Arrive to home for possible callback. Upon inspection found that there was no problem with any work we did. Followed drain line and in the wall was an abs line that cracked at the hub behind the wall and cabinet. MyGuy did an inspection and left options for some things and talked with customer about everything. Today he wanted to focus on the leak in wall. MyGuy supplied and installed 2 no hubs and 2 st 45s to make connections to abs. Tested for leaks and there are none at this time. Gave allstates customer info for water damage.
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a leak in their yard from the water service. Water company contacted homeowner and told them that there is a leak and it needs to be taken care of. Upon inspection found that the 1” poly water service had broke in the middle of the yard. Gave options on making a spot repair vs. replacement of the entire poly line. After discussing pros and cons between both options customer decided that they would like to move forward with replacement of the entire poly line. We will need to remove a section of sidewalk located in front of meter pit dig down and disconnect water service from meter pit then send our puller through the poly from the inside of the home and hook it up to our excavator and pull a new water service through if we cannot pull it we will have to trench all the way towards the home. Collected $500 down deposit and will return sept. 18 to perform work stated above.
Arrived on site customer stated that they have a leak on their main water service. Upon inspection found that it is leaking by the front porch. Gave options to make a spot repair vs a new water service customer would like to have a spot repair performed. Customer is going to finance work to be performed. We will return tomorrow morning around d 7:30-8:00. Customer declined turning the water off for the night so the water will be left on MyGuy plumbing is not responsible for any damages that could be caused by the water leak.
Arrived to the home for a failing laundry pump. The sink itself is a cast iron farm home style sink. I provided options for for replacement of pump only or entire sink package. Customer would like to go through with the entire sink replacement. I have accepted a small non refundable deposit to secure customer spot on the schedule. We are returning tomorrow morning for the work to be completed. Client would like to become a member as well.
Arrived at call for water heater, not lighting. Upon further investigation into plumbing issue, we found that pilot light will light, but gas valve will not indicate correct temperature. Limit switch was tripped. We called tech-support, they recommend cleaning bottom compartment of water heater. Customer signed off on option to replace burner assembly. While replacing assembly, we will clean bottom compartment. Part is currently not ready and available. We will contact customer as soon as we have estimated time of delivery of material, we will then put them on schedule and perform work. Customer has joined our membership.

Today we replaced 1 gate valve in laundry room serving irrigation. We also replaced irrigation vacuum breaker on side of home. Vacuum breaker currently has a leak on both PVC connections. We suspect irrigation gate valve has also failed. This option also includes joining our membership. After installation all connections were tested for leaks and no leaks were found. 2 year parts and labor.

Arrived on site customer stated that they have heard horror stories about the water in Tom’s river. While speaking to the customer their main concerns were with the pfas also known as forever chemicals in the water that contain cancer and such. There is not a system that we provide the will remove it from the entire home but there are some systems that claim to remove pfas but we have not installed and know that it actually works so we do not want to provide something we have not done the research on but would happily install it if customer would like to purchase it and give it a try. The best solution we found for safe drinking water would be installing a reverse osmosis filter that will strip the water of all contaminants and we can hook it up the the fridge and a separate tap right at the kitchen faucet. Gave options to install ro systems and customer would like to do some more research before making a decision.

Leaking tub spout Arrival customer stated she had a leaking tub spout. After an in-depth evaluation, the following has been determined: *The cartridge for the shower valve has failed causing water to slowly drip from the tub spout. *The Moen 1225 cartridge need to be replaced. After replacing the cartridge, the new components were tested and are now operating as intended by the manufacturer.
