Arrived on site customer stated that they had an issue with a leak. After inspecting MyGuy plumbing wrote estimates on what we found in the home. For today customer would like all options emailed over to them.
We had recently repaired freeze breaks in the home, we arrived today due to low water pressure at the kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, and shower head. I first disconnected the sprayer and discovered that the aerator was completely clogged. I cleaned the aerators for all the fixtures and flow and water pressure has been restored. 59$ waived.
Arrived to the home, client had freeze breaks from the copper water risers that feed water to the fixtures of the home. The breaks caused the home to be flooded and the ceiling to collapse. At first I was able to see all the freeze breaks since the ceiling was not in tact, there are 4 breaks in total. Remediation has already been brought to the home and the process has already began. Provided options for repairs, client would like to go with option to repair the freeze breaks. -cut out freeze breaks 3 on hot 1 on cold -supplied and installed new copper pipe and fittings -secured all my connection and turned the home on to check for leaks Are no leaks at this time * full warranty on everything provided. cannot provide warranty on additional breaks since water lines are exposed to client, client is aware * water main is located under bathroom sink and is a gate valve, there is a meter pit outside for replacement of that valve if necessary. Due to snow the pit is not accessible
Customer was having sewer problems in the back house turns out that the whole sewer line between the front house and the back house were backed up going towards the road snake from underneath the deck was able to open line camera and inspect to make sure there were no other problems line is open and draining
Arrived on site customer stated that they had no pressure coming out of the lav sink. After inspecting we found that the aerator was clogged up. After cleaning the aerator full flow was restored. Myguy plumbing went around to all other fixtures to ensure that all fixtures have proper flow. Everything is working as should.
Supplied and installed brand new Kohler shower temperature mixer. Shut water off to home to drain system. Greased up O rings and secured connection Adjusted limit setting and shower is now working properly.
Arrived on site to perform sewer inspection. Client has a cleanout in the asement which I used to camera the line. Sewer main is 118 feet from the basement to the street. Upon inspection I found 2 separations in the line one being 10 ft from the cleanout and another being 85 ft out. Left estimates to dig up both spots or to give a a new sewer main.
Arrived on site to complete work. After inspecting we found that the cartridge we got from Kohler was defective. Myguy plumbing will reach out to customer to get them back on the schedule when we get the parts in.
Customer stated that when we installed boiler, we accidentally sent screws through the other side of the wall. Myguy plumbing returned today to remove screws and install shorter ones, after work was completed everything is working As should no issues
Arrived on site customer stated that there shower was no getting hot enough, after inspecting we found that the limit stop for the shower has broken causing the handle to not stop rotating. Once Myguy plumbing. Gets the parts from Kohler, Myguy plumbing will send over estimates to get the work rectified.
Hardness 6 Arrived on site client stated her second floor bathroom faucet was dripping, kitchen faucet handle was getting stiff and under the lav faucet the cold emergency shutoff valve wasn’t working as it should. Checked for hardness and got a 6 hardness. Client stated she only had these cartridges replaced 1 year and a half ago and the faucet is already dripping. Gave options to replace cartridges and replace shutoff valve underneath lav sink. Client also stated she has a filter guy that can take care of her water quality.
Arrived to the home for winterization of the outdoor sink. Located shut off valves and boiler drain valves above water heater. Introduce compressed air of both hot and cold water piping. Blew out system and emptied all water out of the pipes. Disconnected supply lines from faucet and left all valves on under the sink. Poured antifreeze down the drain as well. Kitchen sink is now winterized
Today we arrived on site to complete customers annual home inspection, after inspecting we wrote up estimates to get what we found rectified. For today customer would like all options emailed over to them. At this time everything is working as should
Arrived to the home, customer had recently had a kitchen sink installed that they had purchased through wayfair, ever since the install, the kitchen sink struggles to drain properly. Kitchen sink set up is not up to code for many reasons, main reason is the bottle trap located under the strainer. There are many functions of this sink set up, coms with built in electronics, bottle rinsed, temp dial and many more. Client had purchased a disposal thinking that the force work help the sink drain. Upon playing with the functions on top, there is a function that plugs the sink. I turned the dial, and the sink drained properly. The plug was left half open from the initial install which is why it struggled to drain. I advised to the client that ultimately replacement of the sink with something more practical is highly recommended.
