Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet bowl leaking at its base. First, we pulled the toilet and found that both of its flange bolts were loose. We also found that the left side of the flange had cracked. So, we added a Sioux Chief 886-MR spanner flange to the backside and a Fernco SF-100 Fix-a-Flange metal repair flange on the front side, making sure to silicone every layer on the repair. We then replaced its wax ring gasket (with a new Mainline ML11580 model), reset the toilet, replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We also added four plastic shims to level the toilet. Finally, we tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues and told the customer to wait at least 24-hours before using it.
