Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a spin down water filter at a well. This would require us to 1) turn the water off and remove the old spin down filter from the well's water line; 2) install a new spin down filter housing with a stainless-steel filter; 3) install a bypass line with two ball shutoff valves to isolate the filter in the future; and 4) after the glue sets, we will turn the water back on and test for leaks and proper operation of the new spin down filter.
