Job Checkin

Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) replaced three yard hydrants (this required us to dig down and uncover their water supply lines, bust the concrete around the yard hydrants, remove the water supply lines and the yard hydrants, install the new yard hydrants and PEX piping going to them; connect all the PEX piping to the existing outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrants, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water lines); and 2) installed a customer-supplied Moen valve operator smart water shutoff (this required us to turn off the water to the home; cut and remove an existing valve-type water shutoff in the basement behind a water heater; convert the water lines to PEX and go up the wall 48-inches and over to the right for easy access; add a stainless-steel ball valve before the device; add the device, reconnect the water line to the home; and cut the water back on and test for leaks).
